The Hokonui Radio MTB Challenge

Competitive racers will fly down invigorating descents and grind up steep inclines as this demanding course winds it way through the beautiful Mt Somers Station. Not for the faint hearted, this 31km course is sure to provide a memorable experience for even the most seasoned riders.

RDR Foothills Race

Blending the captivating landscape of the Acland family’s working farm with a challenging, yet immensely rewarding ride, the 23km RDR Foothills course is ideal for those less experienced riders who still crave a tough workout. Rest assured, this race is sure to get the heart racing and the adrenalin flowing!

Big Al’s Foothill Duathlon

Amongst stunning surrounds, the race incorporates 17km of undulating hills from the RDR Foothills MTB course followed by a 6km mountain run.

The Skinners Bikes, Mowers and Saws Lowland Duathlon

The Lowlands Duathlon course is perfect for U18 competitors, with the event split into 3 age group categories (parents can accompany their children). This gives children the opportunity to compete against others of similar age and ability The mountain bike course covers 17km of gentle rolling hills, followed by a 3km run.

Cross Contracting Mountain Run

A challenging 12km run that takes competitors up Cabbage Tree Gully, across Foothill farmland, and back down a track following Coal Creek, to the finish line.

Sponsors Walk

A 2 hour walk through Mt Somers station, past the Lime Works and ammunition magazines. Walkers will get to enjoy the relaxed, fun-loving nature of this special day whilst supporting an incredibly worthy cause.
